Phil’s Fifth Third Decade
For many years, I was the director for all of Fifth Third Bank’s commercials while Sunrise Advertising had their account. We shot a lot of spots… many of which took… shall we say, rather unconventional creative approaches. We shot Mini-Me singing opera, Queen Isabella evaluating Christopher Columbus as an investment, Paige Davis doing a full-blown musical production number, and trippy look at interest rates in the 1950′s.. We also threw in a few normal bank commercials now and then. All of them were wonderful creative challenges, and brought great success to the client.
